Corporate social responsibility is a form of management in which we, at Hindusthan Urban Infrastructure Limited, have always been integrating social and environmental concerns in our everyday business operations. We have always considered CSR a way through which we can achieve a perfect balance in social, environmental and economic imperatives while living up to the expectations of our stakeholders and shareholders.

Encompassing a wide array of tactics, here are some of the broad categories of social responsibility that we have always been practicing-

Water Facility

Whether as an individual or as an organization, we have responsibilities towards our fellow citizens and the society as a whole. At HUIL, we are working with several groups and communities to identify areas where there is huge water crisis and help meet this need by providing clean water.

We firmly believe in the fact that millions in this world live without love but no one can live without water‎. Keeping in view the same, we have installed a pure drinking water facility at Champajhara Primary School Khurda. This step brings broader smiles on the faces of school children.

Solar Street Light

Similar to water crisis, poor power condition is another crisis for villages, and the people living in remote areas. Installing solar street lights in villages is another social responsibility that we take up. We have already mounted solar street lights in several villages and we are continuing this service wherever necessary.

Installing LED Street Lights at Malipada Village, Khurda is our most recent activity in this regard.

Education

We make regular contributions to the schools for special education, and self-employment for mentally challenged and hearing-impaired children. We also extend financial support to hostel facilities and Vocational Training Centre making great efforts to bring back such children into the main stream of life.
